Thanks to a grant from the Humanities Council of Washington DC, Docs In Progress is partnering with Stone Soup Films to produce a one day seminar in mid-May which will help nonprofit and community organizations learn effective ways to use documentary storytelling techniques to convey their missions and help connect them to filmmakers. This ambitious seminar can only happen through a team effort to produce it.
This is an opportunity to get hands-on experience in program and event management and may be of special interest to those interested in social issue documentary and advocacy.
The first Planning Meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 10 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Docs In Progress (8700 First Avenue Silver Spring, MD).
