The Docs Insider Program is a program of Docs In Progress which has been designed to strengthen Docs In Progress as a documentary community and provide valued benefits to those who join.
While all Docs In Progress screenings, classes, and workshops will continue to remain open to all, Docs Insiders enjoy some special benefits. These include:
- Preferred Rates on Docs In Progress classes, workshops, and seminars. Particularly for those who plan to participate in two or more Docs In Progress educational programs in a year, being a Docs Insider can represent a significant value.
- Access to apply for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status through Docs In Progress Fiscal Sponsorship Program.
- Access to apply for the Docs In Progress Fellowship Program.
- Discounts on partner programs. In the past, this has included passes to the Silverdocs (now AFI DOCS) Film Festival, IDA’s Doc U Programs in Washington DC, and affiliate membership in the National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture
