has been a member of the Docs In Progress Board of Directors since 2012 and currently serves as Secretary and Vice President for Internal Communications and Board Development.
She is the co-founder of Eidolon Films, a Washington DC-based documentary film production company that produces films independently as well as for non-profit organizations seeking to inspire, educate and inform using visual stories. Her work has been broadcast on PBS, screened online, at museums, cultural centers and before members of Congress.
A graduate of Georgetown University, Tessa has a background in journalism, having covered health care policy and economics for Thomson Reuters before co-founding Eidolon Films. She continues to write arts and features articles for local publications including the Washington City Paper, Hill Rag and East of the River Magazine. In her free time, she is a volunteer mentor at Project Northstar, an avid cook and globe trotter.
